My bank refused twice. I thought the money was gone. The team picked it up, escalated to the Ombudsman, and three months later I had it back. I cannot recommend them enough.
I was tricked into moving my savings to a "safe account". I felt so stupid. They were patient, they didn't judge, and they got most of my money back. Honestly life-changing.
I'd almost given up. Filled the form on a Tuesday, got a call within hours, and they handled everything. Even when the bank pushed back twice, they kept going.

Common questions
Is Online Refund really regulated?
Online Refund is operated by Refundee Ltd, an internationally authorised claims management company. We are registered with: CONSOB (Italy, n. 28471), BaFin (Germany, ID 102847), CNMV (Spain, n. 28471), CMVM (Portugal, CMVM-2847/2025), AMF (France, GP284739), AFM (Netherlands, 10284736), FSMA (Belgium, 102847), Finansinspektionen (Sweden, 556284-7391), Finanstilsynet (Norway, 102847), Finanstilsynet (Denmark, 28473912), and Finanssivalvonta (Finland, FIN-FSA, 2847391-8), SEC (USA, CIK 0001472918), ASIC (Australia, AFSL 739124), CSA (Canada, Reg. 472819), FMA/FSPR (New Zealand, FSP 938271). Each regulator's register can be checked publicly.
What does ‘no win, no fee’ actually mean?
It means you don't pay anything upfront. Our case assessment is free. Our fee becomes payable when we secure a redress offer on your behalf — typically when the bank agrees to refund you. The fee is a percentage of the amount recovered. Full details of our fees are available in our fee structure and Summary of Key Information.
How long does the recovery process take?
Most cases take between 8 and 16 weeks, depending on complexity and whether your bank disputes our claim. Cases that escalate to the Financial Ombudsman may take longer. Your specialist will give you a realistic timeline once they've reviewed your case.
Do I have a strong case?
Every case is different. European consumer protection rules (PSD2 payment services directive, EU bank-level reimbursement frameworks) give scam victims significant rights — and where UK banks were involved, we leverage the UK Contingent Reimbursement Model (CRM) Code in parallel. Our specialists will assess your situation honestly and tell you whether we believe a claim is viable — at no cost.
Why do you ask for my phone number?
Scam recovery cases require detailed conversation to understand what happened. A specialist will call you back at a time that suits you. We never share your details with third parties for marketing purposes — see our Privacy Policy.
What if my bank already refused to refund me?
This is very common — and it doesn't mean your case is closed. Many of our successful claims involve clients whose initial complaint was rejected by their bank. We escalate to the Financial Ombudsman where appropriate.
Can I cancel after I sign up?
Yes. You can cancel free of charge at any time before a redress offer has been made on your case. Once a redress offer has been made, our fee becomes payable. To cancel, call us on 07822 015330 or email support@onlinerefundee.com.
